This British Native wildflower seed mixture is inspired by the plant communities found growing wild on the Ridgeway and Salisbury Plain.
Specially produced for Meadow In My Garden it is suited to the chalk and limestone soils typical of our local area. Much of this seed is harvested in the Salisbury Plain area, and some is produced in the Midlands.
Growing Guide: A thin, low fertility, high lime/chalk content soil is the ideal. To reproduce the ecology of chalk meadows consider sowing native grasses and eliminating rye grasses.
Surface sow in Autumn or Spring and do not cover the seed. Firm in the seed with a roller or by treading.
