Chamomile is popular with bees and other pollinating insects, and is recommended for creating a cottage garden feel or a wild garden. It looks lovely within a tall flower border, but may need some support to show the flowers at their best. Grown in containers by the back door it can provide an easy to harvest source for a fresh cup of herbal tea.
The plants are hardy and not susceptible to many pests and diseases. Aphids and thrips can be a problem, and can be controlled in the vegetable garden using our Act Against Aphids flower meadow.
Harvesting
Flowers are harvested as soon as they are fully open
