Sowing period: February to May, or September to October
First signs of blossom: 8-10 weeks
Average flowering period: 4 months

Lavender 'Munstead' is a bushy variety which is particularly well suited to creating low hedges within the garden. Try planting in a line along paths, or on the edge of borders for a fragrant scent every time you walk past.

Flowering lavender is extremely popular with bees and other pollinating insects.

Harvesting
