Nature Activities in Westwood Park - Everyone welcome - Suitable for all ages.
18th May 10am - 2pm
Join us to help sow a beautiful patch of flowers in the garden behind the park building. Have a go at making seedballs using hedgerow wildflower seeds that you can take away and scatter.
22nd June 10am - 2pm
Come and help to plant a flower border for pollinators in Westwood park (using young plants and a planting template).
13th July 12pm - 4pm
Picnic in the Park with nature trail activities. Bring your friends along.
21st September 10am - 3pm
Sowing a wildflower butterfly meadow for biodiversity and beauty.
Autumn 2025
Beginning in September - ’Pottery Play for Adults’: a series of relaxed exploratory sessions with projects that can be made on a table top and will be fired when finished. No matter what your skill level, you’re welcome to join us in the conservatory for some fun with clay, practising some simple hand building techniques and surface decoration. Dates and details to follow.

Spring 2026
More workshops and events planned for 2026 and we’ll be working towards a spring opening for the community garden and cafe in the park. We look forward to making this a special space that everyone can be a part of.
