Wild Events for 2024

Wild Events for 2024

From the glamour of the RHS Flower Shows to the laid-back charm of Toby's Garden Festival at Powderham Castle, we've travelled the length and breadth of the country over the last ten years, and been to garden shows, music festivals, seed swaps, country fairs and Christmas markets. We feel we've earned a rest in 2024, and more time for community gardening - so we will only be attending a small number of our very favourite wild events!

We're starting the year with a couple of our local home & garden market and seed swap events in Frome, and then preparing for a trip over to the beautiful Northwood House on the Isle of Wight. In May we'll be back in Devon for our 10th Toby Buckland Festival, followed by Wood - an early summer folk and roots music festival and environmental gathering near Wallingford.

By June we'll be attending our first Green Scythe Fair - a magical one day environmental fair in a beautiful setting on the Somerset Levels run entirely by volunteers using wind, sun and muscle power!

As we approach the end of our season, we will once again return to The Oak Fair. Much like an acorn, from humble beginnings 18 years ago, the beautiful Oak Fair celebrating oak, timber, woodland, conservation and the Dorset countryside has grown into something much bigger.
