The future of Britain’s bees hangs in the balance. Over the last few decades we’ve lost 97% of our wildflower meadows. Our bee's food supply is starting to run out. And if they’ve got less food, there’ll be fewer bees to pollinate our crops - which means we’ll have less food too.
Evidence shows that planting bee-friendly flowers in our parks and gardens could be the key to saving our bees; and if we work together, we can plant enough flowers to make sure that our bees have the food that they need to thrive!

If you're worried you missed the sowing window for this year, fear not - many of our spring flowerbed seed mixes can be sown into the month of June - and best of all is our autumn collection, for sowing in September or October.

Autumn is also the best time to sow one of our unique flowering lawn seed mixes - indeed, not only will germination be optimised, you will also save money on your seed!
If you're considering native wildflower seeds that are particularly suited to UK conservation projects, take a look at our 100% British Native Collection - these contain only species which have evolved alongside the insects that depend on them, providing nectar and pollen, as well as the leaves, stems and roots that are essential habitat and larval food sources.
