The design of this meadow mix focuses on drawing pests away from the vegetable garden, and at the same time, attracting large numbers of predators, beneficial insects such as hoverflies, lacewings, ladybirds, parasitic wasps etc, that help to restore ecological balance in the garden and on the allotment.

A colourful collection of cottage garden favourites, chosen for their value to wildlife and combined to create drifts of meadowy blooms. Successive flowering over several months will provide a continuous food source for pollinators. Sow directly onto prepared soil. Perfect for wildlife gardens, community spaces and urban ecology.

24 annual & perennial species including: Agrostemma githago (Corncockle), Ammi majus (Queen Anne’s Lace), Anthemis tinctoria (Golden Marguerite), Centaurea cyanus (Cornflower), Chrysanthemum leucanthemum (Oxeye Daisy), Chrysanthemum segetum (Corn Marigold), Cichorium intybus (Chicory), Linum perenne (Perennial Flax), Lotus corniculatus (Bird’s foot Trefoil), Melilotus officinalis (Yellow Sweet Clover), Papaver rhoeas (Common Poppy) and Phacelia tanacetifolia (Blue Tansy).

Our packaging is made from FSC recycled cardboard and environmentally friendly inks. The seed bags are waxed paper or compostable starch to keep seeds in the best condition during storage. Seed packs are supplied ready-mixed with organic husks for ease of distribution.
