Ragged-robin is a perennial. It has much-divided, pink flowers (hence the name 'Ragged') and narrow, grass-like leaves. It thrives in a moist, moderately fertile soil in sun or part shade. Well suited to moist meadows, bog gardens, marshy ground or wild gardens.
